Where exactly is Dawiburi located?
Dawiburi is on the beautiful Jao-Sam-Ran beach in Petchburi Province, Thailand — about 15 degrees north of the equator, on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand. See the location map and the detailed map (PDF).
How long does it take to get there from Bangkok?
A short one-and-a-half-hour drive from Bangkok — convenient enough for weekends and holidays alike.
What does the theme “Luxuriously Back to Nature” mean?
It is the philosophy behind the whole concept: offer luxuries of the highest standard, but with a natural feel in design and architecture. The houses sit in a tropical garden; salas — large open-air pavilions — are arranged on the expansive green behind the houses.
How many villas are there, and what do they cost?
The project comprises five villas, Units A–E. As published in 2004: Unit A — 20,500,000 Baht (US$ 520,000); Units B, C and D — 17,800,000 Baht (US$ 450,000) each; Unit E — sold. Full details are on the Layout & Price page.
What makes the villa design special?
The houses blend in with the beach rather than compete with it, the landscaping resembles Thailand's natural beauty, and every convenience is there — the refinement and amenities of a five-star hotel. Read more on The Villa page.
What is the beach like through the seasons?
At high tide, the azure waters of the Gulf of Thailand surround the complex; at low tide, a pristine sandy beach is revealed. The weather is particularly pleasant from January through July; the August-to-November rainy season is greener, but the sun is rarely out of sight for long.
